Schedule: Monday through Thursday course days are 9 AM to 6 PM, with informal discussion time when course material has been covered. FRIDAY, the formal session concludes at noon. Informal discussion with Dr. Grewal continues in the afternoon, for those who wish to stay.
Dress: Casual. Bring a jacket for evenings and to deal with AC variations.
Review before the course? For the most benefits, students should have a basic understanding of matrix theory, state-space representation of linear systems, and probability theory. Dr. Grewal reviews this material, which for most people is sufficient. For others, a prior review is helpful. It's up to you.
Laptop: For Tuesday-Friday demos, a laptop with MATLAB installed is useful, BUT NOT REQUIRED. Demos are projected.
